# template-out-right

Sets the **direction of the record run** for an output fill column: the column's records are written **rightward** from the anchor, one cell per record. Use it for templates where a record run is laid out horizontally (dates across a row, scenarios side by side). On the [`template-out-group`](template-out-group.md) column it instead means: when the group changes, every data column's anchor advances **one column right**.

`pebblestream:template-out-right`

## Syntax

```
pebblestream:template-out-right
```

* No arguments.
* Placed on the **header cell of the output column** whose direction to set.
  Multiple columns may share it.
* Requires [`template-name`](template-name.md) on the same (output) worksheet.
* **Mutually exclusive** with [`template-out-down`](template-out-down.md) on the
  same column.

## Example

A monthly grid: the output column's records are the months, written across one
row starting from the located header.

| column | header    | comment                            |
| ------ | --------- | ---------------------------------- |
| A      | `Monthly` | `pebblestream:template-out-header` |
| A      | `Monthly` | `pebblestream:template-out-right`  |
